National NeighborWorks® Week

National NeighborWorks® Week is held every summer, typically in June. During the week NeighborWorks® Anchorage mobilizes hundreds of volunteers, business people, neighbors, friends, and local and elected leaders in activities for neighborhood change and awareness.

Paint the Town

Originally introduced in 1988, NeighborWorks® Anchorage re-launched Paint the Town in 2007. We participate in this nationwide neighborhood enhancement project each year, where teams of volunteers work together to paint a home of an individual or a family in need.  NeighborWorks® Anchorage organizes and coordinates this event, which culminates in a celebration picnic with live music, awards, and prizes.  See the Paint the Town site...
