Home Beautification Loan

Anchorage Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. dba NeighborWorks® Anchorage is accepting loan applications for Exterior and Interior Home Beautification.  This loan program provides financing for painting, fencing, windows, landscaping, paving, siding, decking, and other exterior improvements in addition to interior improvements such as energy efficient appliances and other upgrades for homes located in Anchorage.

To qualify, applicants must own and occupy a residence that requires exterior improvements that would enhance the exterior appearance of the home and must be visible from the main street access to the property.  Loans up to $5,000 are secured by promissory note and cover exterior repairs only. Loans up to $5,000 are charged an application fee of $150.  Loans between $5,001 and $10,000 are secured by a second deed of trust and cover exterior and interior improvements and require a $500 application fee. 

Terms (subject to project and credit approval):

• Loan amounts up to $10,000.00
• 6%* interest rate
• Up to 10 year amortization

NeighborWorks® Anchorage cannot finance projects started prior to application.  All loan funds approved must be disbursed during the current construction season.
